In less than five years, April 24, 2010 and January 17, 2015, the interior church projects of Saint Joseph in Mandan and Saint Wenceslaus in Dickinson were completed, respectively. These two 'first Masses' upon the parishioners return to their new Houses of God were memorable dreams which, indeed had come to fruition. Vision for the future temporal goods requires patience, savy planning and usually, reasonable and available financing. The Parish Expansion Fund of the Diocese of Bismarck has been that final and necessary component to fulfill the vision of these two projects. Without the reasonable and available financing of the Expansion Fund, these projects would have been delayed, the momentum of vision lost while construction costs continued to increase. In other words, without The Parish Expansion Fund of the Diocese of Bismarck, these two beautiful churches would not be glorifying Jesus Christ and inspiring the hearts of His faithful today.
